In order to educate the community prior to the District 15 Board of
Education election on April 7th, the Northwest Suburban Council of PTA/PTSAs sponsored
a Candidate Forum on Wednesday, March 18th at Sundling
Junior High.
FORUM OPENING REMARKS/CANDIDATE SELF INTRODUCTIONS - (22 minutes)
Q1: What do you think are the two most important needs
or issues facing the district?
How would you address these two issues that you have identified? -

Q2: When do you anticipate the district
will call for a referendum? What does the district have to do now
in order for that referendum to pass? - (7 minutes)
Q3: As an elected representative, do you pledge to
always, to the best of your ability, treat members of the public with
courtesy and respect even if the public member does not behave that way
toward you or your fellow Board members? How would you improve
communication between the school board and the public? -

is your understanding of merit pay compensation and would you support
that in the upcoming teacher contract negotiations? - (7

necessary and sometimes urgent maintenance and repairs so that the
